Integral development of the Communities is one of the prime concerns of today’s world. PRAGATI SOCIAL SERVICE SOCIETY is one of the leading NGOs. Who is doing praiseworthy development workers around the globe are talking about. Many leaders and nations are concentrating on the issues of development. Our country is also not lacking behind. There are lots of discussions, debates and progressive steps taken to address the problems related to development.

The new schemes, benefits, and laws etc, have been brought out in favouring community development. From central government to the local government, many of these schemes and benefits are connected towards development. But very often, this is not benefiting the real beneficiaries. Many members in communities are denied their rights. Lots of them are not even aware of their rights and government schemes available for their development.

Pragati Social Service Society is giving special attention to these developmental issues of the poor and the marginalized communities in Western U.P, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and some parts of Chennai and Kerala. It has adopted a right based approach in its work thereby people are helped to avail their rights from the local and central government schemes. It is helping many SHGs and farmers by way of sharing information related to agriculture and are connecting them with various Government departments and schemes. Other than the farmers, there are also women, children, disable children who are benefiting from the interventions of PSSS.

Rejoicing of its progress during the year 2019-20, PSSS feels indebted to many people, agencies, donors, NGO partners, local panchayats, NABARD, animators and volunteers for their collaborations and contributions.
